An elite group of Sophomores (Class of 2012) have been nominated to participate in the 5th Annual Ryan Lemmon Foundation Sophomore Showcase & Game. In order to participate in the showcase, players must be nominated by their high school coach and be playing in one of the following leagues: Century, Empire, Freeway, Pacific Coast, Sea View, South Coast, Sunset and Trinity. Once all the nominations are received, players chosen will be sent an email advising them of their participation.
Pro Style workout & Showcase Game:
THE OPPORTUNITY: 40 of the top players from South Orange County have been chosen to participate in the 5th Annual Ryan Lemmon Sophomore Showcase and Game. Players will get to play in front of Baseball Factory and Team One Baseball scouting staff.
SHOWCASE & GAME: All players will go through the 60-yard dash, batting practice, a defensive workout, and will play one showcase game.Team One Baseball was founded on the principal that showcasing players should take place on ONE field in order to maximize player exposure for every coach and scout.Time spent traveling from field to field wastes time and takes the coach’s eyes off of the players.
THE EXPOSURE: We have created the perfect setting for showcasing the region’s top rising prospects. Team One Baseball will notify every college and university on the west coast. The Ryan Lemmon Sophomore Showcase has been attended by numerous colleges and universities including:Azusa Pacific, Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount, UC Irvine, and Westmont College.
THE FUTURE: All Ryan Lemmon Sophomore participants will be strongly considered for selection to the Under Armour All-America Game, powered by Baseball Factory. The Under Armour All-America Game is played yearly at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois. The 2009 game was telecast live on ESPNU and was attended by over 90 MLB Scouting Directors, National Cross-checkers and Head Coaches from top college programs including UNC, LSU, Kentucky and Georgia Tech.
This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills to scouts and coaches. The Saturday schedule is an evaluation by Team One Baseball scouting staff. Saturday each player will play in one game. Check in is at 8:00 am. The workout will start at 9:00 am. There is a $10 charge to the players.
Parents and friends are invited too. There will be a $5 admission for those in attendance During the Sophomore workout there will be a Senior showcase game. A $7 lunch sponsored by OutBack Steak House is available. Admission and lunch proceeds will go to benefit the Ryan Lemmon Foundation.

Players Registration
We would like to thank all of the high school coaches for nominating their top 2012 graduates. We have had an overwhelming response and are currently FULL at all positions. However, we have started a waiting list in case a player becomes unable to attend the event.
